Starting Anew with Love & Gratitude

anew /əˈnjuː/

In a new or different and typically more positive way.

gratitude /ˈɡratɪtjuːd/

The quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

A fresh start was what I was looking for. Something fresh that sets me alight and excites me beyond anything that I’ve done before. Something that represents me in my truest form and nobody else. Somewhere that I don’t have to answer to others who are far away from who I am and what I represent.

A thing that not only helped me beyond what I thought possible but more than anything helps others feel what I have these past few years whilst practicing, learning, and evolving as a human being. The old me has gradually and organically moved and evolved over the past 44 years and come to a place where I feel grounded and happy. I have found something that belongs to me which is inclusive of everyone else. The Breath.

It's been a long road to this point and an extremely happy and rewarding one. I’ve had an amazing, loving, fun, and supportive upbringing in Yorkshire with my mum, dad, and 4 siblings, Matthew, Charles, Esther, and Timothy. I played, was schooled, played sports, grew, traveled the world, listened, learned, worked, danced, loved, found love, started a family, worked for amazing and hideously awful people in equal measure, learned, moved forward and never backward and all with no regrets. Everything past has brought me to the present and I have found what I’ve been searching for and I’m grateful for it to finally present itself. It feels just like the beginning of something special and I’m super excited to get started.

Breathing has changed my life beyond what I thought was possible. I am feeling the best I have since my teenage years and it’s all down to learning how to breathe optimally. I shall go further in-depth into how this happened and how it can help you too but for now, I’ll leave it for another post.

I’d like to say thank you and express my love and gratitude to those closest that have helped me along my path toward what I’m about to embark upon. I am now a breathing coach. Family and friends are what life is all about. Everything else is just noise.
